Shaws Berry Farm is set in a forest sheltered valley just north of Albany in New Zealand.

Gentle rain, abundant sunshine and fertile soils combine to grow the luscious fruits used in our natural preserves.

Quality control is paramount to all procedures at Shaws. We run a HACCP based Food Safety programme and are audited annually through the NZ Food Safety Authority. Our current certificate is available on request.

We have full traceability throughout our procedures and our new purpose built factory has enabled us continue to manufacture high quality products.

Many contracts and tenders are covered under our confidentiality agreements and recipes can belong either our customers or ourselves.



Shaws Berry Farm has been owned and operated by the Shaw family since its inception in 1977, as a leading Pick Your Own berry fruit orchard.

In 1986, due to an over production of good quality fruit, we started the manufacture of high quality jams aimed at the gift and tourist sectors. Since then, Shaws have specialised in the manufacture of high quality jams, marmalades, honeys, dessert toppings and more recently salad dressings. Contract manufacturing accounts for about about 70% of total sales. Shaws also manufacture 28gm jars of jam for the tourist industry. Hotels such as Langham, Hilton, Hotel de Vin and CaterAir are some of our regular customers.

A new purpose built factory was built in 2004, allowing Shaws to increase capacity and efficiency. Since then our Food Safety Programme has been completed ensuring consistently high standard of product.
